Maintenance Program

Program overview:

Two services are scheduled approximately six months apart. Customers sign up for the Maintenance Program by contacting Bill at bill@hometownbicyclerepair.com. Bill will note you as a maintenance program participant and schedule your first appointment. A text or email (customer’s preference) reminder will be sent when services are due.

Cost:

Customers pay a one time annual payment of $168.00 upon completion of the first service, a *Five Star tune up. The second service a **Four Star tune up is covered. There is no additional cost unless parts are needed. This is a savings of 20% off the cost of these two services separately and will reduce the risk of a break down and helps the bike and it’s components to function properly to their full life expectancy.

The cost of the Maintenance Program includes labor only. Parts not included.

Add $20.00 to the annual price for e-bikes, adult tricycles and recumbent bikes.

Additional cost saving benefit:

Maintenance Program participants will receive a 10% discount on any parts or accessories purchased at anytime from HomeTown Bicycle Repair.

Services included:

The first service is a 5 Star tune up which includes the following services:

bike clean and polish – *safety inspection – lateral wheel true – drive train clean – Ultrasonic chain clean – **shifter treatment – hub, headset and bottom bracket adjustments as needed – Brake and derailleur adjustment – lubrication – tire inflation to proper pressure – road test.

The second service is a Four Star tune up which includes the following services:

Bike clean and polish – safety inspection – derailleur and brake adjustment – lateral wheel true – tire inflation to appropriate pressure – road test.

The $186.00 initial payment is non refundable. Customers may cancel at anytime.

* Safety inspection includes: Visual inspection of frame, fork, wheels, tires, chain, brake pads, seat posts, stem, handlebar, cranks, peddles and bolt torque check.

**Shifter treatment flushes shifter body of dirt and grime and lubricates.
